16---------- FORAYS (2005)

Forays was a free distribution book produced for a group exhibition Sediments,
being part of the re-opening of Turku Art Museum in Turku, Finland.

Forays is completely based on local archival resources. It is a story of the museum
building and the Dahlström brothers, the donators of the museum. In our
conceptual and in part fictious framework the story widens to tell a story of the 19th
century bourgeous world eventually crashing with the rise of the working classes, of
the evaporation of "all that is solid", and of the transformation of the ideas of art.
